  • ~ He will review your paperwork and then enter your room

~ Dr. Moreland will ask you several questions to learn the reason for your visit. (One of the patients' most frequent compliments about Dr. Moreland is how well he listens and truly understands patients' concerns.)

  • ~ How long have your symptoms been present?

~ What makes your symptoms feel better or worse?

~ What previous treatments have you tried?

~ What medications or supplements are you taking?

~ Costs associated with treatment, and what portion of those fees you may be financially responsible for

  • (You DO NOT need to disrobe for the examination or treatment.)

Range of Motion Tests - to identify any areas that may be stiff and not moving properly

~ Performed seated or standing - similarly to performing comfortable stretches.

Orthopedic Tests - to rule in or rule out various musculoskeletal conditions like disc herniations

~ Performed with the patient's comfort in mind

Activator Method Analysis and Adjustments - Technique uses a special table to allow the doctor to be more specific with his analysis and allow patients to be more comfortable and relaxed

~ Wider than many other types of adjusting tables so that a patient can comfortably rest with their arms at their sides

~ Equipped with a motor to be able to lower patients from a standing position to a laying position

~ Allows patients that couldn't usually crawl onto a table due to a painful condition to get into a prone, flat-lying position and lie comfortably

~ You stand on a foot piece on a table while it's located on the floor, place your face in the open groove in the table, and place your hands on the sides

~ The table lowers you from a vertical standing position to a horizontal lying position, and you don't have to do anything

[If you are a pregnant female, don't worry; we have a unique table that allows you to lay flat even with your baby bump!]

    • What Dr. Moreland is looking for:

~ Pelvis and spine health with Chiropractic Activator Methods Adjusting protocol

~ Leg length inequality by the presence of a short leg and then the reaction of that short leg through various movements

    - No part of this portion of the exam is painful; you'll be walked through each section so you understand what to do

    - With your permission, Dr. Moreland will treat any areas of your spine found to be problematic as he performs his Activator analysis
